Bird Life Cycle and Calendar Year

Here is my study the harvest graphs, the  graphs are showing Bird Life Cycles (BLC) and  3 seasons  aligning very well with Calendar year and Lunar year. Normally people say number of nests harvested per month but actually it is number of nests that we harvested per season (4 months period).

The Great Secret of Swiftlet Farming Master.

Many masters claimed that they have many secrets. It is just one of many ways for them to make money in some cases. There is no secret to be Swiftlet Farming Master. The power is yours, your knowledge and belief in the success. However, you must acquire basic knowledge from good reliable sources then experiment, validate information scientifically. Don't believe in Myths. Don't believe in Sifu. Don't believe in given information. Believe in yourself,  use scientific methods   and start controlling your BH. Understand and Follow swiftlets' behavior then control their behavior!

Analyze, Plan, Strategize, and Execute the changes ... and then measure and adjust the plan to make it better day by day, season by season. Don't worry... Everybody makes mistake and my mistakes were even bigger than yours but only the master has never giving up. If your BH is not performing as your expectation, find suspicious things and change! All you need is to do correctly one season and start from there. Why are you afraid to change a failed BH that had 2, 5 nests in coupe of years? Well, unless you don't know how... the basics of swiftlet farming! or you are listening too much to some trash talking Sifu!

Studying, building, researching, analyzing, planning, executing, experimenting scientifically, my BH was increasing 250% nests in the last season! and nests are continuing increasing season over season. I knew that I have done correctly!  and I'm on the right track. Raising the bar again, I'm setting new goals and going to the next level. Swiftlet Farming is so simple once you know the basics! Ironically, some consultants don't know the basics of swiftlet farming! They don't even know the swiftlet's breeding cycles. Therefore, you have seen many failed BHs are around as consequences.

Remember "There are no accidents"; "'There is no secret ingredient. It's just you.".

Happy Swiftlet Farming!!!

A Giant Nest

It is big, heavy and clean!!!

The Grand Mater of swiftlet farming is a person who knows how to manipulate the bird life cycles in order to increase nest productivity. It is the art of measuring, graphing, maximizing the productivity, area under the curves and define the course of actions. Sounds Simple? lots of serious studies, practical strategies and serious executions.

The Results: Double nests count every season (4 month) regardless Best, Good or Bad season; At least 800% nests increasing year over year (2x2x2=800% per year). Nests are bigger, cleaner and heavier.

The Standards: These quantity and quality of nests become a base-line for basic measurements for success or failure of my bird house.

The Art of Swiftlet Farming Management

The architectural, the design, the techniques, the strategy in operation will determine the success of the BH.

Be Master Breeding Cycles and Swiftlets behaviors.
Define your Standard Operation Procedure:  know exactly what to do on any situation.
Be master  of controlling air flow, wind, water, sun light, bird activities in your BH and your neighbors BH for all year.

The BH is operating 24/7 so it must be operated automatically and must be sustainable such as use less energy and utilize natural resources as much as possible.  Hence, Management BH is the key determine success on Swiftlet Farming.

Double OR Trouble!

Studying your BH (recommend to use S.W.O.T.) and setting the objective for your BH  then measuring your BH performance (recommend to use S.M.A.R.T.) are keys for success on swiftlet farming. My goal is simple: Double OR Trouble!  Double up the number of bird nests for each season (4 months) OR my BH is in Trouble! And if  I couldn't find the "Trouble" then my knowledge of swiftlet farming have limitation and I must spend more time to study.

So far, my BH have been achieved this objective 4 out of 5 seasons! there was one trouble season: it was the 2nd season, number of nests had growth 150% which was less than "Double", then indeed,  it had "Trouble". These "Troubles" had been studied carefully and fixed.

These "Troubles" were:
Some birds abandoned their nests.
Lots of  birds were visiting but many of them could NOT stay overnight.
Some eggs, baby bird fell down.
Some nests had a little hole.

My workers did guess many reasons caused these troubles. However, no guess works are allowed in my BH. I'm looking for facts NOT opinion. Swiftlet farming is a serious business and we must have scientific mind sets. Many physical inspections, tests, investigations had been done and  the issues found finally! Temperature, Humidity, Light Intensity, Air movement were in range. Aroma was good. Amplifiers were playing well. No fungus developed... It appeared that nothing was wrong at glance. Why? After studied carefully, I found the environment was not suitable for bird to enjoy their life... Misting nozzles, Tweeters arrangement, time to play, appropriate sound were not set correctly. Sound was wrongly used. Baby sound loops was not mixed to main sound.., these mistakes were minor and easily ignored by workers. Additionally, many geckos, cockroach were found from old bird shits. They had growth and went around at night and disturbed birds...And lately,  we found five (5x) snakes were hidden inside the bird house! Birds didn't feel comfortable, safe to stay and build their nests.

The fixes strategies had been discussed  and the tasks were carried out and well done by workers. After one month, the results were excellence as we expected. The sub-sequence seasons, the number of bird nests  were on target: "Double" or even better.

Swiftlet Farming is a serious business which requires serious operation mind sets. From this event, my BH is operating and is maintenance based on the scientific data, records and past proven experience pro-actively . And re-actively, I'm searching for facts  that my bird nests count are NOT "Double" because I know that if there is then my BH is in "Trouble".
What about yours? Good Luck!
